Pet Accommodations

At Waters Edge Animal Hospital and Urgent Care we also offer boarding facilities for your dogs and cats.  Your pets our cared for by our wonderful kennel assistants.  Dogs are walked every two hours and can be taken on longer walks if requested.  Cats receive play time and individual attention from our kennel assistants as well.  Medications can also be given to your little ones if needed.  Their accommodations are cleaned once daily or more if needed throughout their stay.

Your pet’s stay covers their visit daily from 9:00am to 9:00am the following day.

Boarding Requirements:

To ensure all pets who stay in our accommodations are fully protected and to also protect other pets and our staff there are a few health requirements that must be followed.  Please provide proof of the following requirements.

Canine Requirements:  Must be up to date on vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper (DHPP) and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines.  Must have a negative intestinal parasite (fecal) exam performed within the last year.  Puppies less than 14 weeks of age must have received their first two Distemper combination vaccinations and a Bordetella vaccine given by a veterinarian at least one week prior to their stay.

Feline Requirements:  Must be up to date on vaccinations, including Rabies and Distemper (FVRCP) vaccines.  Must have a negative intestinal parasite (fecal) exam performed within the last year.  Kittens less than 14 weeks of age must have received their first two Distemper combination vaccinations given by a veterinarian at least one week prior to their stay.
