Preventative care is crucial in the life of your pet. At every examination all body systems are evaluated. Recommendations can be made after evaluation. Dental hygiene is extremely important. 80% of dogs and cats have some form of dental disease. Most pets do not allow their owners to view their mouth and owners are not trained on how a diseased tooth may appear.
Nutrition is very important. Many people have questions on how best to feed their pet. Reading a pet food label can be very frustrating. Our team at Waters Edge Animal Hospital and Urgent Care is trained on reading labels and discussing what is best for your pets particular needs. Our hospital offers an array of Royal Canin prescription diets, regular diets, and treats for your dogs and cats. There are also some Purina prescription diets available for your pet.
